Favorite Book. When I read Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, I was shocked, enlightened, angry, frustrated, and was sick to my stomach. But this is exactly how you should feel when you read about the realities of women who have been oppressed. Kristof and WuDunn’s storytelling moved me into action and shook me to my core. This is one book I will never forget.
